Adaptation of Kirkpatrick’s Four-Level Model of Training Criteria to Evaluate Training Programmes for Head Teachers

Training programmes are evaluated to verify their effectiveness, assess ability achieve goals and identify the areas that require improvement. Therefore, target of evaluators is develop an appropriate framework for evaluating training programmes. This study adapted Kirkpatrick’s four-level model criteria published in 1959 evaluate head teachers according own perceptions those supervisors. The may help conceptualise assessment learning outcomes with metrics instruments. also helps determine strengths weaknesses process. adaptation includes concrete instruments each four levels model: reaction criteria, behaviour results criteria. was applied 12 female Saudi Arabia. sample comprised 250 trainee indicated Kirkpatrick evaluation very effective educational teachers.
